Project objectives: The aim of the project is to raise the awareness of the target group on the acceptance of implementation of necessary and rational climate and sustainable development actions on the national, EU and global level, including, indirectly, through the implementation of appropriate EU directives, especially those pertaining to renewable energy, energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions transfer. 6
The aim of the project is in line with all four specific objectives of the priority area Climate Governance and Information as set out in Article 16 of the LIFE Regulation, especially in point a), to promote awareness raising on climate matters, including generating public and stakeholder support of Union policymaking in the field of the climate, and to promote knowledge on sustainable development, an objective who s implementation is a strategic element enabling to build conscious social support in Poland towards the continuation of long term climate policy, as agreed at the political level by EU member states and confirmed at the EU Council on March in the year 2014. 7
Main expected results: 1. Reaching 7 million unique viewers (not recurring) thanks to the production of 10 short-films (which make up the full length film Revolution Now) and their promotion focused towards all Poles (18+) in Discovery s TV channels 2. Reaching up to 2 550 000 contacts through the internet: published posts by bloggers about the Documentary s premiere will be viewed at least 900 000 times, and during the project lifetime, information about the campaign on blogs and vblogs will be viewed 1 350 000 times, while posts on WWF s facebook fan-page will reach 100 000 users, and information about the project will reach 200 000 WWF s newsletter subscribers. 3. Reaching up to 15 million contacts (reach measured on the basis of media monitoring reports) thanks to media coverage resulting from PR action 8
