Foreign Scientific Scholarships: During the period 26.01.1997 25.07.1997 I was on scholarship at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (USA), where I attended selected lectures and classes, and I worked as a research assistant on two projects: Central Bank Independence Macroeconomic Implications and Econometric Forecasting 6
Model of Cranberry Crops in the U.S.. The scholarship was a prize for winning a contest organized in the summer of 1996 during the Polish American Summer School of Economics in Błażejewko k/kórnika. I spent one academic year (25.08.2000 31.05.2001) at Boston University on research fellowship granted by the Polish American Fulbright Commission. I attended some lectures and seminars; including some seminars at the MIT and Harvard University. The purpose and effect of the scholarship was the preparation of a doctoral thesis. Teaching Experience: I've been teaching since 1998, when in the middle of the 4 th year of studies I began working as a Junior Assistant in the Department of Mathematical Economics, Poznań University of Economics. In total, I have been teaching 14 courses (lectures and/or classes) in 2 universities: Poznań University of Economics and Poznań School of Banking. In addition, (within the framework of scientific scholarship) in the spring semester of 1997 I worked as a teaching assistant at University of Massachusetts, Amherst, United States. My teaching activities focused mainly on the applications of mathematics in economics (due to my academic interests), and a few introductory subjects such as micro- and macroeconomics (due to recent University needs). Over time the share of courses conducted in English was rising up to the point that since 2010 I teach less than 50% in Polish language. The list of courses that I have been teaching: 1. Ekonomia matematyczna (Mathematical Economics) lectures and classes in the period 1998 2010, Poznań University of Economics (PUE) and Wyższa Szkoła Bankowa w Poznaniu (WSB Poznań School of Banking). 2. Makroekonomia Europejskiej Unii Monetarnej an elective course for Masters Degree students (PUE), designed by myself. 3. Macroeconomics of the European Monetary Union an elective course for Masters Degree students (PUE), designed by myself for English-speaking students (PUE). 4. Teoria gier i jej zastosowanie w ekonomii (Game theory and its application in economics) an elective course for 1 and 2 degree students (PUE and WSB), offered in the period 2009 12. 5. Matematyka finansowa i ubezpieczeniowa (Financial and insurance mathematics) classes in the period 2007 2011 (PUE and WSB). 6. Portfel inwestycyjny (Investment portfolio) for 2 degree students (PUE), 2008 2011. 7. Mikroekonomia (microeconomics) required course for first-year students, 2007 2012 (WSB). 8.
