The third edition of easyfairs SYMAS took place on 5 and 6 October 2011 in Kraków. This was Poland s only trade fair devoted especially to the handling, storage and processing of loose and bulk materials. At the same time took place easyfairs Maintenance a specialised trade show devoted to maintenance in industrial plants. Over the course of two days, 88 exhibitors from Poland, Germany, Belgium, Finland, Denmark, France, Italy, Switzerland, Romania, Slovenia and Czech Republic presented a diverse and interesting offer of products and services for the loose and bulk materials industry and maintenance, i.e. machines, product innovations and technological solutions. Primarily, these included verification instruments, filtering devices, separating equipment, transportation devices, control and measurement equipment, storage solutions. There were also suppliers of maintenance products and services, such as: condition monitoring, lubrication, automatics, pneumatics, pumps & valves. The thematic scope of the event and its industry focus combined to make the show a great success and were awarded high marks by the visitors, who mainly represented the electronics, construction, chemical and food industries. The visitors praised the event for the opportunities it presented for establishing a variety of valuable business contacts all in one place and at one time, for the excellent organizational preparation, as well as for the event topic itself, which so far had never been undertaken in Poland. The event was co-located with the International Seminar INDEX devoted to explosive impact of plant industry - ATEX, organized by the Powder & Bulk magazine and Tessa Wolff & Sons company.

VISITORS Due to the wide range of solutions presented on the fair, it has gained recognition among about 950 professional representatives from many sectors of industry. The most visitors came from such sectors as: easyfairs SyMas and easyfairs Maintenance visitors are key decision makers in companies, responsible for the purchase of new equipment or implementing new technologies. The fair was attended by both the owners and presidents of companies, as well as engineers, technologists and production managers and technical specialists.
Results of a survey among trade fair visitors show that the vast majority - over 70% of respondents - rated the offer presented at the fair as positive. Visitors appreciated both the selection of exhibitors, as well as devices presented on trade fairs. They also enjoyed good organization of fair, professional service and above all the atmosphere at the fair. Due to strictly professional nature of the fair, it was visited only by specialists from the bulk solids and maintenance industries. Exhibitors and visitors appreciated also seminars and conferences which took place in parallel with the fair. In addition to the inherent concept of professional seminars easyfairs learnshops also held the International Seminar INDEX Explosive Hazards in Industrial Plants ATEX organized by Tessa Wolff and Sons company and a seminar organized by Humac Ltd.: Diagnostics Safety IT Systems.
