Team At 31 December 2010 the Bureau of Research team consisted of 89 persons (78,2 full-time posts), 7 of which professors and 29 doctors.

Activity evaluation of draft acts assistance to Sejm committees, including: the Legislative Committee, the Public Finances Committee state budget, the European Union Affairs Committee EU law providing information at deputies request comparative and inter-disciplinary analyses preparing preliminary positions of the Sejm in matters before the Constitutional Tribunal seminars and conferences publications
Documents prepared in the BAS have the following forms: legislative expertise - which discuss and evaluate the draft legislation contained in publications of the Sejm, legal advice - made in response to questions regarding the content or interpretation of the law the analysis - information regarding social, economic, from international relations and foreign policy
documents explaining the proceedings before the Constitutional Court and other pleadings, notes - brief answers in written form, mainly by staff of Enquiry and Consultancy Group. reviews the documents of the European Union, including the draft EU legislation, official documents of the Chancellery related to the control of the constitutionality of the law.

In 2010 BAS organized jointly with the Sejm committees 2 conferences, on behalf of the Speaker BAS organized series of seminars devoted to changes in the Constitution connected with Polish membership in the EU, BAS experts together with MPs participated in international conferences BAS organized six in-house seminars
