4 APIE VILNIAUS MIESTO KORTELĘ Vilniaus miesto kortelė (angl. Vilnius City Card) yra skirta turistams, norintiems geriau pažinti miestą. Kortelė yra dviejų tipų: 24 val. ir 72 val. trukmės. Kortelės turėtojas gali naudotis miesto viešuoju transportu (autobusais ir troleibusais), nemokamai lankytis muziejuose, gauti nuolaidų lankydamasis parkuose, užsakydamas ekskursijas pėsčiomis, autobusu, mikroautobusu, dviračiu, velomobiliu. Su kortele taip pat galima gauti nuolaidų užsakant nakvynę, atsiskaitant restoranuose ir kavinėse, perkant suvenyrus galerijose, užsakant sveikatingumo paslaugas. Kortelė yra vardinė ir galioja nuo pirkimo momento. Kortelę galima įsigyti Vilniaus turizmo informacijos centruose. Kortelės naudojimo sąlygos: galioja autobusuose / troleibusuose; galiojanti ir aktyvuota kortelė nekeičiama ir pinigai negrąžinami; vienkartinės nemokamos paslaugos galioja tik pateikus kortelę su kuponu (83-84 psl.). Kortelės turėtojus kviečiame užpildyti anketą, esančią psl., ir grąžinti ją Vilniaus turizmo informacijos centrui. Kiekvienas, grąžinęs anketą, gaus dovanėlę. Es gibt zwei Arten der Karte: für eine Dauer von 24 und 72 Stunden. Die Karte bietet dem Inhaber freie Fahrt mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr der Stadt (mit Bus und Obus), freien Eintritt in Museen, unterschiedliche Ermäßigungen in Parks, für Führungen zu Fuß, mit dem Bus/Kleinbus, Fahrrad und Velomobil. Mit der Karte kann man auch eine Ermäßigung für die Übernachtung und in Restaurants bzw. Cafés, für Souvenirs in Galerien, für Dienstleistungen in Wellnesszentren erhalten. Vilnius City Card ist personenbezogen und nicht übertragbar, tritt ab dem Zeitpunkt des Kaufs in Kraft. Die Karte können Sie in Tourismus-Informationszentren von Vilnius kaufen. Nutzungsbedingungen der Karte: die Karte gilt in den Bussen/Obussen; die gültige und aktivierte Karte wird nicht umgetauscht und das Geld dafür nicht zurückerstattet; einmalige kostenlose Dienstleistungen gelten nur bei Vorlage der Karte mit Coupons (S ). Public transportation routes and schedules are available online at Buses and trolleybuses run in Vilnius from 4:00 until 24:00. Night buses run from 23:30 until 4:00. Sodų St. 22, Vilnius Tel (information) Information: I-VII 7:00-19:00 Discount is given to passengers who take all intercity routes of TOKS and buy tickets in Vilnius Bus Station (Sodų St. 22, Vilnius). A one-day ticket costs 13 LTL, a threeday ticket costs 23 LTL, and a ten-day ticket costs 46 LTL A single night bus ticket costs three litas and can only be bought from the driver. Tourists may discover the most interesting places of Vilnius Old Town by following one of the two audio guide routes (short or long) and listening to a recording. Audio guides are oriented towards individual visitors who want to explore the city and gain knowledge of its history and culture independently. Audio guides including a special map with the indicated route can be rented from Vilnius Tourist Information Centres (Vilniaus St. 22, Didžioji St. 31). Audio guides are recorded in Lithuanian, English, German, and Polish. Audio guides cannot be rented if the temperature is lower than minus 10 C, or during periods of heavy rain. Jie plėtė, perstatinėjo rūmus ir XV XVII a. Vilnius tapo vienu iš didžiausių Europos centrų. XVIII XIX a. pr. okupantai rūmus niokojo ir visiškai sugriovė. Planuojama, kad 2009 m. liepos 6 d. duris atvers atkurti Valdovų rūmai. A wooden settlement was established in this historical place back in the 4th 8th centuries. Part of the settlement became a castle in the late 13th and early 14th centuries. Almost all Lithuanian rulers resided here. They expanded and reconstructed the palace until Vilnius became one of the great European centres between the 15th and 17th centuries. In the 18th and 19th centuries occupants destroyed the palace and eventually demolished it. The National Museum The Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania will be opened on 6 July It will host permanent expositions and international exhibitions; it will also organise guided tours, and house the Vilnius Tourist Information Centre. An diesem historischen Ort befand sich vom 4. bis 8. Jh. eine Siedlung aus hölzernen Häusern und Ende des 13. Jh. bis zur 1. Hälfte des 14. Jh. wurde ein Teil dieser Siedlung zu einer Burg. Hier residierten fast alle Groβfürsten von Litauen. Sie haben ihre Palastgebäude mehrmals erweitert und umgebaut und im 15. bis 17. Jh. wurde Vilnius den großen europäischen Zentren gleichgestellt. Im 18. bis Anfang des 19. Jh. haben die Okkupanten die Palastgebäude abgenutzt und letztendlich völlig zerstört. Am 6. Juli 2009 ist geplant die Eröffnung des nationalen Museums des Palasts der Großfürsten von Litauen. Hier werden Dauerausstellungen und internationale Ausstellungen veranstaltet. Im Palast werden auch Exkursionen durchgeführt. Wilno swoją rezydencją wielkoksiążęcą dorównało dużym miastom Europy. W XVIII na pocz. XIX w. zaborcy zniszczyli budowlę, została ona ostatecznie rozebrana. Otwarcie Muzeum Narodowego Zamku Wielkich Książąt Litewskich zaplanowano na 6 lipca 2009 r. THE EXPOSITION OF HISTORY AND ETHNIC CULTURE OF OLD LITHUANIA The National Museum of Lithuania is the largest depository of Lithuanian historical cultural heritage in the country. It is the oldest museum in Lithuania, dating back to 1855, when the Museum of Antiquities was established in Vilnius. While ascending the hill, tourists can enjoy an impressive view of the city and the river. Gediminas Castle, which is atop the hill, houses a museum. More than 100 sculptures by artists from all over the world (including recognised contemporary artists Magdalena Abakanowicz, Sol LeWitt, Dennis Oppenheim and Beverly Pepper) are exhibited in the 55 hectare park. The stone sculpture park VILNOJA, situated at a distance of about 20 km from Vilnius and surrounded by an impressive Lithuanian landscape, invites visitors to become acquainted with modern sculpture. More than 60 sculptures by authors from over 30 countries worldwide are exhibited in the park. VILNOJA offers an opportunity to admire impressive artworks while enjoying respite from the city s bustle in a cosy hotel and café. Visitors can also enjoy a sauna or a wooden bath by the lakeside. VU Botanical Garden is the largest in Lithuania (total area 199 ha) and the richest in plant collections: there are about 9,000 plants which belong to 886 genera. Collections of rhododendrons, lilacs, lianas, peonies, dahlias and bulbous flowers are the most numerous and impressive. The garden is also interesting as a heritage site part of the old manor has been adjusted to suit the needs of visitors and there is an old park with ponds in Kairėnai. Hier gibt es die, zahlreichsten und eindruckvollsten Kollektionen von Rhododendren, Fliedern, Kletterpflanzen, Pfingstrosen, Dahlien und Zwiebelpflanzen. Der Botanische Garten der Universität ist auch als Objekt des Erbes interessant: in Kairenai ist ein Teil der wirtschaftlichen Gebäude des alten Gutsbesitzes (geeignet für Besucher) und der alte Park mit Teichen erhalten geblieben. Im Garten finden verschiedene Kulturveranstaltungen (Konzerte, Kunstausstellungen) statt. Man kann hier auch reiten oder mit einer Kutsche fahren. The centre presents the latest and most relevant art from all over the world, as well as Lithuanian artists projects. Cooperating with organisers and festivals in other spheres of culture, CAC also holds many other events: modern music, dance, fashion, cinema, and cartoons. It publishes CAC Interviu, the only magazine to focus on contemporary art in Lithuania, and organises the international monthly cycle of lectures CAC/Café Talks. There is also a reading room, and excursions to exhibitions can be organised. CAC is a popular meeting place in Vilnius. LIETUVOS AIDO Gallery, which for sixteen years has presented modern Lithuanian art dating from the 60 s until the present day, is a place open to various artists, with different aesthetic insights and a versatile palette of self-expression. However, the most prominent element which unites the range of gallery items is its commitment to lasting aesthetic values. The gallery carefully selects works, which are from the correct time period and meet fundamental criteria, and presents them to the world of art. The gallery is constantly searching, and cherishes anything that may harmoniously complement the integral mosaic of modern art. Das Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst (ŠMC) ist das größte Zentrum der modernen Kunst in den baltischen Staaten. In diesem Zentrum werden die neueste und aktuellste Kunst aus aller Welt und die Projekte der litauischen Künstler präsentiert. Unter Zusammenarbeit mit den Veranstaltern anderer Kulturbereiche und Festivals stellt das Zentrum auch die Veranstaltungen der neuen Musik, Tanz-, Mode-, Kino- und Animationsveranstaltungen vor. Hier wird die einzige Zeitschrift Litauens über moderne Kunst herausgegeben. Im Zentrum werden Interviews, monatliche internationale Vorlesungszyklen und Diskussionen im Café organisiert. Im Zentrum befindet sich ein Lesesaal. Das Zentrum organisiert auch Besichtigungen der Ausstellungen. Das Zentrum ist ein populärer Ort für Treffen in Vilnius. Die Galerie LIETUVOS AIDAS ist ein Haus, in dem schon 16 Jahre die moderne litauische Kunst vom 7. Jahrzehnt bis heute vorgestellt wird. Dieses Haus ist offen für verschiedenste Künstler mit unterschiedlichsten Anschauungen und ästhetischen Ausdrucksformen. Die klarste Verbindung für die Vielfalt der Werke in der Galerie ist jedoch das Vertrauen in ständige ästhetische Werte. Die Galerie wählt und präsentiert der Kunstwelt die Werke sehr sorgfältig. Diese Werke haben eine Prüfung der Zeit und der fundamentalen Kriterien zu bestehen. Jest tu prezentowana najnowsza, najbardziej aktualna sztuka z całego świata oraz projekty litewskich twórców. Dzięki współpracy z artystami reprezentującymi różne dziedziny sztuki oraz z organizatorami festiwali Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej przygotowuje również imprezy poświęcone najnowszej muzyce, tańcom, kinu, animacji. Wydaje też jedyne na Litwie pismo poświęcone sztuce współczesnej pt. ŠMC Interviu, organizuje doroczne międzynarodowe cykle wykładów ŠMC/Rozmowy w kawiarni. Czynna jest tu również tzw. czytelnia artystyczna, organizowane jest zwiedzanie wystaw. Jest to popularne w Wilnie miejsce spotkań. Galeria LIETUVOS AIDAS od 16 lat prezentująca współczesną sztukę litewską, poczynając od lat sześćdziesiątych do naszych dni to dom otwarty dla różnych twórców, na różne poglądy estetyczne oraz wyrazy artystyczne. Tym, co najściślej łączy różnorodne kierunki działalności galerii, jest wierność trwałym wartościom.
