Faculty of Engineering Management Choosing a promoter for the final thesis
According to the regulation for studying a student shall choose his promoter no later than by the end of the semester before the last semester of the course of study. The field of interests of the promoter and the subject of the final thesis should be accordant with the sourse of study of the student
In order to select a promoter, 1. a student goes to an academic teacher, establishes the subject and possibilities of writing the thesis under his supervision, 2. and then confirms this fact in the administrative unit involved in the planning and settlement of the teaching process.
first cycle studies the student chooses the promoter of the thesis prior to undergoing student internship (5 th semester). the thesis may take the form of a project, including an engineering project (RS 42 section 3) and can be done individually or collectively. the team writing collectively can enclose from 2 to 4 students.
first cycle studies The diploma examination consists of two oral parts: 1. Presentation of the final thesis by the entire team 2. Each student- member of the team, answers at least three questions connected with the knowledge in a given field of study
second cycle studies Writing a Master's (on second-cycle studies) is a prerequisite for the completion of learning process. Student prepares a diploma thesis understood as his individual piece of work The subject should be in compliance with the chosen specialization

Studenci should make their choice of promoters by the end of the semester: Winter semester (end of January) 2018 if they finish studying with a winter semester 2017/2018 Summer semester (end of June) 2018 if they finish studying with a summer semester 2017/2018 Students contact in person with the promoter, establish the general range of the subject of his thesis, declare the choice of the promoter in the administration
Declarations of the choice of promoters are collected by: mgr Agata Olejniczak ul. Strzelecka 11 room 203 Tel. 061 665 34 28 Monday Thursday: 10.00-14.00 Friday - CLOSED E-mail: agata.olejniczak@put.poznan.pl After the deadline for choosing promoters, students, who did not make their declaration, will obtain a promoter ex officio
