Test duration 8 hours. 13.6.2 Acceptance conditions for first characteristic numeral 6 The protection is satisfactory if no deposit of dust is observable inside the enclosure at the end of the test. No deposit of dust inside the sample 14 Tests for protection against water indicated by the second characteristic numeral 8 14.2 Test means - water witch temperature do not differ from temperature of tested object by more than 5 K 14.2.8 Test description - total submersion in water enclosure in specific by manufacturer position - the level of submersion of according to product norm or be settled by manufacturer; 1.3 x 900 mm - the time of duration of test - 60 min 14.3 Acceptance conditions - no water inside the enclosure or - if any water is inside the enclosure it shall not to: be sufficient to interfere with the correct operation of the equipment or impair safety of the tested object - deposit on insulation parts where it could lead to tracking along the creepage distances - enter live parts or windings not designed to operate when wet - to accumulate near the cable ends or enter the cable if any - if enclosure is provided with drain holes any water which enters inside shall be able to accumulate and it drains away without doing any harm to the equipment.. Submersion level 1200 mm, duration 60 min. No water inside the sample. Before and after the I68 test there was measured resistance insulation value between connected together supply conductors and metal radiator applying solid tension 500 V by 1 minute.
