"Roses are red, Violets are blue, Because of you, St. Constance School Shines brightly in BLUE!" During the first week of April, the 8th Grade students of St. Constance School led the entire student body, teachers, and staff in "Lighting it Up Blue" for Autism Awareness. Throughout the week, the students colored Autism Awareness ribbons & hung them up around the school, the Student Council officers sold blue wristbands to be worn throughout the month of April, and our enthusiastic 8th Grade students decorated the front of our school with blue ribbon, signs, and solar lights. Come over at night to see St. Constance School "Lighting it up Blue" with our blue solar lights! On April 2nd, National Autism Awareness Day, everyone at St. Constance School wore blue and generously donated to Autism Awareness. That afternoon, the entire school participated in a "Balloon Lift-off" outside, letting blue and white balloons float into the sky to symbolize raising awareness for autism throughout the community. All donations and money made from the wristbands sale, will go to the Autism Speaks Foundation. We would like to thank all the families and friends of St. Constance School for their generous donations! Together, we raised $700.00 for Autism Speaks! We would also like to especially thank our 8th Grade students, Mrs. Wojciechowski, Ms. Blecka, and Ms. Presslak, for a magnificent job setting up these special activities! St. Constance School shines brightly, especially in BLUE! Please view pictures from this magical week at St. Constance School s Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/pages/st-constance-school!
