2 Dear Faculty Guests, Dear Fellows, it is our honour to welcome you to the 6 th held in Krakow, Poland which is organized by Jagiellonian Univeristy Medical College, under the auspices of European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) and in cooperation with European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC). The course is one of only a few scientific events in Poland which obtain EBAC accreditation and the only in Europe this year. Each time we welcome more than 300 participants from all over the world. This successful annual event has become a solid point in scientific calendar of many interventional cardiologists in Europe, escpecially young adepts of cardiology who wish to become well-trained PCI operators. Our aim is to keep the highest scientific level, free of any potential industry bias and with accordance to current clinical guidelines and EBM. That is why distinguished and well-respected academicians consist the core faculty and speakers which come mostly from Poland and Central-European countries. Our faculty includes among others: Bela Merkely, Andrejs Erglis,Thierry Lefevre, Davide Capodanno Lucian Zarma, Petr Kala, Imre Ungi, Christoph Naber.
