4 The Nicene Creed I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. Zlitował się nad nimi, byli bowiem jak owce nie mające pasterza. I zaczął ich nauczać. Wtedy polecił im wszystkim usiąść gromadami na zielonej trawie. I rozłożyli się, gromada przy gromadzie, po stu i po pięćdziesięciu. A wziąwszy pięć chlebów i dwie ryby, spojrzał w niebo, odmówił błogosławieństwo, połamał chleby i dawał uczniom, by kładli przed nimi; także dwie ryby rozdzielił między wszystkich. Jedli wszyscy do sytości. i zebrali jeszcze dwanaście pełnych koszów ułomków i ostatków z ryb. A tych, którzy jedli chleby, było pięć tysięcy mężczyzn. K: Oto słowo Pańskie. W: Chwała Tobie, Chryste. Módlmy się. Panie Jezu Chryste, prosimy Cię, spójrz z Miłosierdziem na Twój lud, który jest jak owce bez pasterza, specjalnie spójrz na tych którzy nie akceptują w całości Twojego nauczania w Kościele Katolickim. They said to one another, "Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked to us on the road, while He opened to us the Scriptures?" Tak przybliżyli się do wsi, do której zdążali, a On okazywał, jakoby miał iść dalej. Lecz przymusili Go, mówiąc: Zostań z nami, gdyż ma się ku wieczorowi i dzień się już nachylił. Wszedł więc, aby zostać z nimi. Gdy zajął z nimi miejsce u stołu, wziął chleb, odmówił błogosławieństwo, połamał go i dawał im. Wtedy oczy im się otworzyły i poznali Go, lecz On zniknął im z oczu. I mówili nawzajem do siebie: Czy serce nie pałało w nas, kiedy rozmawiał z nami w drodze i Pisma nam wyjaśniał? W tej samej godzinie wybrali się i wrócili do Jerozolimy. Tam zastali zebranych Jedenastu i innych z nimi, którzy im oznajmili: Pan rzeczywiście zmartwychwstał i ukazał się Szymonowi. Oni również opowiadali, co ich spotkało w drodze, i jak Go poznali przy łamaniu chleba. K: Oto słowo Pańskie. W: Chwała Tobie, Chryste. Módlmy się. Panie Jezu Chryste, prosimy Cię o błogosławieństwo dla rodzin z naszej parafii. Prosimy Cię, o łaskę licznych powołań do kapłaństwa oraz życia zakonnego. Prosimy Cię, o swiętość rodzin, aby swoim życiem świadczyły o Twojej obecności w Najświętszym Sakramencie. Który żyjesz i królujesz na wieki wieków. 9 TRUST IN JESUS Todayʹs feast celebrates another central mystery of our faith the mystery of the Eucharist. Like the mystery of the Trinity, the real presence of the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist can never be fully understood, but can only be believed. Just as the Israelites in the desert were invited to put their trust in Godʹs word to them, we are invited to trust wholly in the word of Jesus. In todayʹs Gospel Jesus promises to give us a share in his very own flesh and blood, and a share in eternal life besides. Marriages: The Pastoral Guidelines for Marriage Preparation in the Archdiocese of Chicago ask that a minimum of 4 months be set aside as formation time in preparation for this sacrament. Couples should not reserve a banquet hall prior to setting the date in church. Please note we are unable to accommodate weddings on Sundays. The presence of children is a gift to the Church and they are a reminder that our parish is growing. Please welcome them and give a smile of encouragement to their parents. Moms and Dads with infants and young children; keep coming to Mass here. Over time of weekly Mass attendance they will catch on: how to pray, to concentrate and know that Jesus is present here in church. Sit toward the front where it is easier for them to see and hear. Sitting in the back of church they will only see the backs of others. There are several pre school age books with pictures of the priest offering Mass. Help them to stay on the right page. At Family Masses; Father will invite parents and older siblings to help younger children find the prayers that are printed in the bulletin worship aid. Your example of singing the hymns; praying and voicing the responses are the best ways to teach. If a child begins to cry; no worries. If you have to leave Mass momentarily with your child; feel free to do so, but please come back. Psalm 8 teaches us that out of the voices of infants you have foiled the enemy. This means that Jesus Christ can use the sounds coming from the voice of a child to foil the evil one. Powerful!! All are welcomed by Jesus and His Church. Why? Because he wants all of his people from the very old to the very young to grow in holiness, in His ways of life and truth; and to become saints!
