Kris binding machine Please read this instruction carefully to get the most out of your Comb Binding for many years of trouble free service. 2 5 Structure Waste Tray Binding Mechanism 1 Paper Stopper Punching Entry Comb Opening Lock Punching and Binding Handle Operating instruction 3 Turn the Punching Switch to the left side or the right side. Insert papers into the Punching Entry. Pull down the Punching and Binding Handle all the way down to punch completely through. Place a plastic comb onto the Binding Mechanism. Pull down the Punching and Binding Handle so far that the comb is opened enough. Press the Comb Opening Lock to secure the opened comb. Insert punched paper sheets into the opened comb. Release the Comb Opening Lock. Pull up the Punching and Binding Handle to close the comb completely. Remove the bound booklet. Remove the Waste Tray from the back side of the machine and clear the scraps. 4 6 General Safeguards Place the machine on a secure, stable work table to prevent it from falling and possibly causing personal injury and damage to the unit. Use the unit only for its intended purpose of binding according to the indicated specifications. Do not place anything in the Punching Entry other than paper up to 8 sheets of 80gsm

When punching a plastic cover, the cover should be punched with a piece of paper either side. Empty the Waste Tray regularly. Otherwise the unit could be jammed. Lift the machine from the bottom or the Carrying Slot, not the cover or the handle. Unauthorized maintenance is not allowed. It could cause paper jam and may lead to overloading of mechanical unit and as a result decrease of durability and even damage.
