RADAR ANTENNA PROBLEMS PHASED ARRAY RADARS (PAR s) with passive or active antennas. The MFR emergence has became possible mostly thanks to the whizzard development of the ANTENNAS technology ; The basic features of the PERFECT MFR ANTENNA SYSTEM are as follows: antenna pencil beam(s) quasi - inertialess positioned with using phase phase control method in two orthogonal axes, (i.e. in elevation and in azimuth), variable beams characteristics depending on their tasks, adaptive beam forming, ULSA enabling good spatial resolution, high efficiency making the antenna cool, wideband in frequency, possibility to create a few antenna beams at different frequencies, the antenna system characteristics stability within wide range of frequencies, temperatures, time, polarization etc..
MFR RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS In order to accomplish the MFR tasks its ability to dispose of the resource as follows is required: digital signal synthesis and pulse compression enabling pulse to pulse or burst to burst agility, beam position digital control, digital adaptive beam - forming, software based adaptive signal processing, energy and time management procedure diversified in range, azimuth and elevation, adaptive clutter and jammers suppression, clutter map (CM) estimation, estimation of the interference parameters that are used to perform the ECCM function, control computer having high computation capacity.

Taking into account: a large number of the difficult tasks realized by the radar, especially by the MFR, the multi - criteria of the MFR optimization enforced by the high efficiency needs under real time condition, LPI limitation, the continuous increasing of the modern air environment complexity, the complicated radar structure, one can conclude that correct design of the MFR is a SOPHISTICATED AND VERY DIFFICULT CHALLENGE.

MESAR DIGITAL BEAMFORMING MESAR uses digital beamforming to produce multiple receive beams. The sub-arrays within the MESAR antenna collect signals which are routed to the 16 analogue sub-array receivers. Then amplified I&Q outputs are digitised and stored. Complex (phase and amplitude) weights are then applied to produce sum, difference and sidelobe blanking beams. ADAPTIVE BEAMFORMING Complex weights are moreover calculated to minimise noise from jamming, resulting in nulls in the antenna pattern at the jammer angles. Finally the adaptive beamformer has generated nulls in the direction of eight sidelobe jammers. The whole adaptive process is completed within 500 microseconds.

CONCLUSION 2 - Powers actually build multistep, mixed REMOTE SENSING SYSTEMS - RADARS are important elements of the such systems. very long range (OTH) long range medium range short range (LPI type) land - based shipboard airborne space - based monostatic bistatic multistatic with using hitchhiking (auto stop) radar concept stationary transportable mobile - Large number of radar systems work on the very short waves (X, K u, K bands and higher). Interest of the UHF, VHF and HF bands is growing up nowadays.
Wnioski 4 System antenowy firmy Hughes Aircraft & Hughes Electronic Research Laboratories Realizacja prac nad anteną przenoszącą sygnały od 1 GHz do 40 GHz spełniającą następujące funkcje: obserwacja zadanej przestrzeni sterowanie środkami wykonawczymi walka radioelektroniczna komunikacja.
CONCLUSION 5 The dual frequency phased array antenna system for MFR began to be tested in 1995 (UK). Function Frequency Search 1 GHz (L - band) Track 10 GHz (X - band) As a result a fundamental frequency compromise that does not allow optimization of performance against each radar task, becomes possible to overcome. Thanks to the Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMIC) continuous development the distance between the radar transmitter, antenna and receiver is going to be small.
