Siekierki Power Station began its production in 1961. The Power Station has 2000MWT thermal power and about 600MW electric power. The basic fuel is bituminous coal, biomass and light heating oil for PTWM peak boilers. It is about 1,4 million tons of coal, 280 thousand tons of biomass, and 5 thousand tons of light oil being used. Siekierki Heat and Power Plant main goal is to provide thermal and electric energy with appropriate quality parameters maintaining optimal level of manufacturing costs and environmental protection standards for the consumers. The amount of provided thermal energy comes from actual need of heat for heating buildings and potable water heating, which is being supplied based on the deals made with the external customers. The thermal energy entrainers are network water and technological steam. It could be possible to see the most crucial elements of heat and electricity manufacturing process in the process of high-efficiency cogeneration on the trip. The trip route will include : Coal yard Biomass storage facilities Pro-environmental installations of desulphurization, denitrification and electrostatic precipitators Signal tower heat and power station s and heat accumulator s headquarters NOTICE! The persons concerned for participation are obliged to fill in additional entry form which is available at www.powerpol.pl in REGISTRATION bookmark. The confirmation of being registered on the participants list who are allowed to be on Siekierki Heat and Power Plant is the requirement for the trip participation. The list is turned over by Europejskie Centrum Biznesu. The number of members is limited.
