cutting machine Cross cutting machine The blades for a cross cutting machine must guarantee a fast and clean cut. There are models available for single blade machines, multiple blade machines or manual cutting. TENAX produces a single layer-double radius type segment. The segments are made with different formulas depending upon: the materials being used, the type of machine, the needs of the operator. In addition to the standard core (STD), there are also available two different types of silenced cores. The sandwich SIL core (made with 3 side by side layers of steel-copper-steel) and the LASER core. This core is a single layer steel core carved with laser rays. Blockcutter Blockcutter The quality of the cut in the sawing of the blocks depends on many factors: type of material, blade characteristics, machine parameters, right amount of water. Tenax has gained vast experience in Block Cutting marble and granite. This allows us to offer a wide selection of blades to meet the demands of material and work conditions. The Tenax Block Cutting segments for marble and granite are multi-layered: the sandwich structure of the segment allows us to achieve a higher performance to eliminate the wandering of the cut due top the rounding of the edges. For the harder applications (granite and some type of marble) the segments combine to the sandwich structure the trapezoidal section: this eases the removal of the material, reducing the friction between the segments and the stone. In addition to the standard core (STD), we can also furnish the silent version of the type SIL (or sandwich) with sound damping cores of three layers (steel-copper-steel) and LA (or laser) with a steel core sound damping tangential grooves that are filled with vulcanized rubber.
