At least one of the engaged persons (or their parents) must be a registered and active parishioner of St. Priscilla. Weddings are not scheduled on Sunday. 4 Page Four April 21, 2019 Fr. Maciej s Reflections ALLELUIA! CHRIST IS RISEN! Mary of Magdala goes where her Lord's body was left. But the tomb is empty. A ray of light falls upon this darkness of faith. Although, for the time being, the reasoning behind this is very human: "They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don t know where they put him" (Jn 20: 2). With these words, she pulls the other students from their lethargy of sadness and fear. They run to see if the tomb is actually empty. They believe, though they do not understand. They also passed this faith on to each one of us. The belief of the Church in the fact of the Resurrection pulls us out of stagnation and brings light into the various sleepy spaces of our lives. We, too, can free ourselves from fear and doubt, because Christ has truly risen! Dear friends, I wish all of you that this encounter with the Risen Christ renew in us the power of faith, hope and love. Let us open our hearts to receive the gift of salvation offered to us by Christ and let us be his faithful witnesses! With blessings and prayer, Fr. Matthias Galle your Pastor ALELUJA! CHRYSTUS ZMARTWYCHWSTAŁ PRAWDZIWIE! Uczennica wybiera się tam, gdzie pozostawiono ciało jej Pana. Ale grób jest pusty. W tę ciemność wiary wpada promień światła. Choć na razie tłumaczenie faktu jest bardzo ludzkie: Zabrano Pana z grobu i nie wiemy, gdzie Go złożono (J 20, 2). Tymi słowami wyrywa pozostałych uczniów z letargu smutku i lęku. Biegną, aby sprawdzić, czy rzeczywiście grób jest pusty. Wierzą, choć nie pojmują. Tę wiarę przekazali również każdemu z nas. Wiara Kościoła w fakt zmartwychwstania wyrywa i nas z marazmu i wnosi światło w różne ospałe przestrzenie naszego życia. My też możemy uwolnić się od lęku i zwątpienia, bo Chrystus prawdziwie zmartwychwstał! Moi drodzy życzę wam wszystkim, aby spotkanie ze Zmartwychwstałym odnowiło w nas moc wiary, nadziei i miłości. I would like to recognize the people who helped to make this a success. A special Thank You: To Bishop Alberto Rojas for making it a wonderful day of spiritual remembrance for the students and their families. To Fr. Maciej, our pastor, Fr. Daniel, the rectory staff for all your help during the preparation.
