10 CLUSTER Auto cluster Silesia Auto Silesia Auto, a networking initiative in the Auto sector in Southern Poland, facilitates cooperation between over 250 entities from three neighbouring regions (Silesia, and Małopolskie ) including: enterprises (vehicle manufacturers, producers of motors and other car parts, components and systems), Universities of Technology such as Silesian University of Technology, Czestochowa University of Technology, University of Bielsko-Biala, Scientific entities such as Institute of Non-ferrous Metals, Institute for Ferrous Metallurgy, Institute of Welding in Gliwice (Polish Welding Centre of Excellence), Technical schools, Specialised services suppliers. 22 CAST PARTS Today the most concentration of Magna Cosma International NTP company is put to the complex aluminium, magnesium and zinc diecasting including CNC machining for the following industries: Auto, Electronic, Civil Engineering, Power tools, Machinery, Military. In addition company offer: diecasting machines, spare parts for diecasting machines, galvanic and laser cutting. NTP manufactures high volume diecasting parts mainly for auto industry (about 80% from total production of casts). All NTP foundries are equipped by diecasting machines manufactured in NTP based on its own know-how as a second activity range. There is currently 7 fully automated cold-chamber machines from 400 to 1100 tone at aluminium foundry and 5 fully automated hot-chamber machines (400 tone) at magnesium foundry and the production capacity is still permanent extended.
